Latourell Falls: A Musical Guide to This Gorge Gem
Most tourists stop at the first viewing platform and toodle on down the road, but NOT YOU. You’re gonna follow the trail to the left and do the whole loop! OR State Parks is beginning to charge a small parking fee starting on March 30, 2026, so be prepared. This parking lot packs out for most of the day when things warm up in the summer—be warned. Latourell Falls was named for a settler named Joseph Latourell, who arrived around 1857. The land itself was donated to Oregon by the Talbot family in 1929.
